This Privacy Policy explains how "Planning Technologies" LLC ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the PassGuard application for iPhone and iPad (the "App"). Everything you store in your vault stays on your device. We have no access to it. The App contains no advertising and does not track you.

The following data is created and kept only on your device. We have no access to it, and it is not transmitted to us or to any third party:
You can delete this data at any time in the App, or by deleting the App.
The App can create a backup file of your vault so that you can move your data to another device. The backup is created on your device and shared through the standard iOS share menu. You decide where to save it (for example, in the Files app or in iCloud Drive). The App does not upload backups to our servers. Please store backup files in a safe place.
The App asks for permissions only when you use a feature that needs them. You can grant or revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings. Refusing a permission only disables the related feature.
With your permission, the App uses the camera and your photo library so that you can add photos of documents, cards and other items to your vault. Images are stored only on your device.
You can unlock the App with Face ID or Touch ID. Face ID and Touch ID are handled entirely by iOS: the App only receives a confirmation that authentication succeeded and never receives or stores your biometric data.
If you add reminders (for example, to renew a document or replace a card), the App uses local notifications scheduled on your device. The contents of your vault are never sent anywhere to deliver reminders.
We use the following services. They process data on our behalf and under their own privacy terms.

These services never receive your passwords, card details, documents, notes, photos or any other content of your vault.

We may promote the App through Apple Search Ads. Apple measures the results of these campaigns on its own platform under Apple's privacy rules. We receive only aggregated campaign reports and no information that identifies you. The App does not show advertising.
Your vault remains under your control and is permanently deleted when you delete it in the App or delete the App. Analytics data is retained according to Google's retention settings: event-level data for up to 2 months, and user-level data for up to 14 months from your last activity.
Because the App has no accounts, we usually cannot identify data that belongs to a specific person. If you have a question about your data, contact us at management@plantech.app.
Your vault is stored only on your device and is protected by the built-in data protection of iOS and by the App lock (your password, Face ID or Touch ID). We do not have a copy of your password and cannot access your data. No method of storage is completely secure, so please use a device passcode, choose a strong app password and keep backup files in a safe place.
Google services may process analytics and crash data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union, with appropriate safeguards. The contents of your vault never leave your device.
Depending on where you live (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the App, and on the performance of our agreement with you for paid features. We do not sell personal information.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
